Elevation: 750 – 850 / 900 m.a.s.

Surface: 130 ha including pre-phylloxera planted vineyards over 130 years old. North oriented with long vegetative cycle around 230 days.

Climate: Continental with extreme Atlantic influence causing fresh nights and frequent spring´s frosts. Semi-arid character with hot summers and cold winters receiving up to 2.600 hours of sunshine per year. Average temperature of 13 degrees.

Precipitation: 350 – 400 liters / year.

Fermentation:

RED: French oak barrels, Stainless steel tanks.

Aging:

RED: French oak bordelais barrels.

Grape Varieties:

RED: Tinta de Toro (Local Tempranillo).

The Románico despite being basic product is an excellent example of well balanced red reflecting extraordinary terroir of D.O. Toro.

Románico

Variety: 100% Tinta del País.

Aging: 6 months in French oak barrels.

Alcohol Grade: 14.5%

Note: Red purple color with fruity and floral aromas. Well balanced tannins and acidity.
