
The origin of this grape is in Arabic table grape variety called GIBI which was probably brought to Spain during the domination of Peninsula.
Description: Large bunch of irregular shape, Vigorous, resistant to dry conditions.
Profile: Mid-late ripening period, Budding bit later, Low acidity, High sugar content suitable for sweet wine production.
Aromas: Rich and sweet flavors of raisins, dates or chocolate, Even flavor or coffee or spices can be noted.
Main Region: Montilla-Moriles.
Other Regions: Jerez, Sierras de Málaga, Condado de Huelva, Valencia, Catalonia, Castilla-La Mancha, Extremadura or Alentejo in Portugal.
Blending: Mostly mono-varietal wines.
