Autonomous variety from “The Levant” territory along Valencian Community. Takes up on 1.871 ha (2023). Also known as: Verdosilla, Exquitsagos, Blanqueta, Marisancho, Gayata etc…

Description: Medium or medium-big bunches, Highly productive, Late ripening, Adaptable to all types of soil, Highly resistant to dry conditions.

Profile: Fresh and dry, Low acidity, Suave in mouth, Pleasant finish.

Aromas: Tasty grape with light aroma of herbs, white fruits and bitter almonds.

Main regions: Well planted in Alto Turia, Utiel-Requena and Vinalopó.

Other Regions: In generally widely cultivated in Valencian Community, Castilla-La Mancha, Jumilla and Yecla.

Blending: Due to its pleasant character more and more wine makers produce spectacular mono-varietal wines but even is blended with Malvasía or Chardonnay.
