Description: Bigger bunch very compact, Conic shape, Highly productive, Resistant to frosty mornings in the autumn, Buds late, Late ripening, Production of White and Sparkling (Cava).
Profile: Dry, Medium acidity, Low in tannins, Medium-Light Body, Lower alcohol content.
Aromas: Light fruity aromas of apple or pear, Lime peel, Tarragon.
Main Regions: The most white grape cultivated in D.O.Ca. La Rioja. Often used around whole Catalonia (D.O.Ca. Priorat, D.O. Conca de Barberá, D.O. Terra Alta, D.O. Tarragona) and Aragón (D.O. Calatayud, D.O. Somontano).
Other Regions: Navarre, D.O. Yecla, D.O. Jumilla. Frequently cultivated in southern France in Languedoc-Roussillón.
Blending: Due to light aroma often blended with Chardonnay or Garnacha Blanca (White Garnacha).
