One of the most impressive karst landscape in Europe declared Nature Reserve in 1989. Located within the municipality of Antequera (Andalucía) is even, together with Dolmens of Antequera under the World Heritage of UNESCO since 2016.

Originated in Mesozoic (Jurassic) geologic period, when the area was laid down on maritime corridor between Gulf of Cádiz and Alicante. During the Alpine Orogeny the area was uplifted from sea bed.
Frost weathering and erosion brought fracturing, caving and further rocks modification causing spectacular form diversity with the most emblematic shape of screw.
Location: Municipality of Antequera, Andalucía (MAP).
Surface: 1.171 ha.
Fauna: Griffon Vulture, Spanish Ibex, Golden Eagle, Bonelli´s Eagle, Weasels, Jeweled Lizard, Red Fox and many other smaller species.
Fossils: Hard shelled sea fossils around the whole area.
Self-made Tours: Three different circular marked routes, Green, Yellow and Orange varying between 2 and 4 KM.
